Introduction

Welcome to DocView, software operated by Ginylil. By using the product, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

Software description

DocView is a native macOS PDF viewer. The current release is intended for opening and reading user-selected local PDF files with native PDFKit rendering and layout controls.

Current scope limits

DocView does not claim Windows support in this release.
DocView does not claim PDF editing, annotation, OCR, or full-text search.
DocView does not provide account-based sync or document sharing.

Acceptable use

Use the app only with PDFs you are allowed to open.
Do not try to bypass the product's normal local file-access flow.
Do not represent this release as a cloud storage or collaboration service.

Store-distribution terms

If you download DocView through the Apple App Store, your use may also be subject to Apple's store terms and platform rules. Those rules supplement, and do not replace, any mandatory consumer rights that apply to your download.

For Apple-distributed versions, the Apple Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies where required. Product support is handled by Ginylil, not Apple.

No warranty

DocView is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that every PDF will open correctly or that every document layout will behave identically across every Mac configuration.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ginylil is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of DocView, including issues related to unsupported PDFs, rendering differences, or document workflow interruptions.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Spain, where Ginylil is registered, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
